We encourage more people to experience the
fun of raising heritage cattle. We can sell you breeding
stocks that will make the start of a fine herd and put you in touch with the Pineywoods Cattle Registry and Breeders Association
(PCRBA).
The PCRBA is dedicated to preserving
this rare breed of heritage cattle and provides contact with other breeders with similar interest.
You need to think carefully about your decision to start raising Pineywoods. The animals are very gentle and easy to care for. They require little attention, are very disease free, require almost no vet service, or help with
calving. They will eat forage that domestic cattle will not touch. However, they do not mix well with the standard breeds of beef cattle, require
techniques sometime contrary to normal cow-calf operations, and the advice of the land-grant agricultural programs.
We specialize in the Holt and Broadus
family lines (strains) and also have some inersting varieties of mixed family lines (all purebred Pineywoods). We have both full size and guinea animals. All cattle are registered with the
PCRBA.

Cow, sprung w/calf (trio) $1200; Cow, sprung $900; Cow, open $800; Heifer, sprung, $850; Heifer, open $700; Heifer calf
(< 8 mo.) $400; Bull calf (< 1 yr) $300; Bull $500. Please e-mail for photos of specific animals.
Transportation may be possible with advance arrangements. Our price for delivery
is $2.25/mile one-way from Carnesville, GA.
